Independent.co.uk has stopped providing content updates following an unforeseen publisher incident during the launch of a title website.

The publisher is aware of the service impact and is engaged in resolving the issue. Independent.co.uk is still not providing content updates. We do not anticipate that this issue will be resolved until 1st November.

The publisher has advised that the feed cannot be re-established for independent.co.uk for the duration of today due to technical difficulties. We will continue to work with the publisher with the aim of resuming content updates for this title as soon as possible.

The publisher has re-established a new feed which now undergoing on-boarding and later testing before it is released to the live eClips Web service. We expect this work to last for the duration of today and will provide a further update by end of play today.

The publisher continues to experience poor website performance and page-loading issue since the launch of the new website. The publisher’s priority at this time is to address the live site issues, after which they will attend to resolving issues related to feed delivery.
Following a deep review of the current state of the feed, we have concluded that it is not in a suitable state for release back into eClips Web. We will continue to monitor and review the situation, working with the publisher to re-establish supply of Independent.co.uk content as soon as possible. The Independent have issued the following apology:
